Wat Sri Khom Kham has the distinction of housing one of the largest Buddha images in the north! At 17 metres tall, the sitting Buddha requires a building of exceptional height, and the interior is magnificent in red. Lots of recent renovations, plus some “interesting” garden sculptures in the Heaven Hell Park keeps it on the mini-van tour stops! Well worth a visit, more Wat Sri Khom Kham details /photos here
Wat Phra That Chomthong is located opposite Wat Si Khom Kham, approx 1.5-kms up hill from the main street. it is also accessible from the north-bound lane of the main highway at the norther end of town. More Wat Phra That Chom Tong photos / details here…

Located mid-town, this temple has a spectacular entrance gate and lovely white chedi.
