Wat Sri Khom Kham has the distinction of housing one of the largest Buddha images in the north! At 17 metres tall, the sitting Buddha requires a building of exceptional height, and the interior is magnificent in red. Lots of recent renovations, plus some “interesting” garden sculptures in the Heaven Hell Park keeps it on the mini-van tour stops! Well worth a visit, more Wat Sri Khom Kham details /photos here
Wat Phra That Chomthong is located opposite Wat Si Khom Kham, approx 1.5-kms up hill from the main street. it is also accessible from the north-bound lane of the main highway at the norther end of town. More Wat Phra That Chom Tong photos / details here…

Wat Analayo is approx 17 kms west of the town, directly across Kwan Phayao from the Por Khun Ngam Muang statue on the waterfront. There are additional details and images in the Wat Analayo page
Located mid-town, this temple has a spectacular entrance gate and lovely white chedi.
